Responding to Antarctica Exhibition

Principal Investigator, Professor Allyson Comstock invited 68 people to collaborate with her by responding in any way they chose to a postcards she created from photographs obtained during field research. Each postcard depicted a different image or scene so that no two collaborators received the same postcard. The people who contributed to Responding to Antarctica reside in 20 states from throughout the US, and in Canada, Australia, the Philippines, and the U.K. Some are artists and others work in a variety of professions and jobs , including writer, restaurant manager, accountant, scientist, musician, museum curator, IT specialist, speech-language pathologist, filmmaker and many more. The resulting exhibition is their response to a singular view of Antarctica.
