Critical conference review: “Men, Health, Wellbeing: Critical Insights Conference”.

[From the review] Hosted by the world renowned Centre for Men’s Health at Leeds Beckett University, the Men, Health, & Wellbeing: Critical Insights conference took place in the City of Leeds, United Kingdom, 7-8 July 2014. The conference not only provided researchers from nations across the world with a forum to present their work around men and masculinities in relation to health, lifestyle, consumption and wellbeing, but it also offered insights to those involved with service provision in the area of men’s health. One hundred and four delegates were registered for the conference and represented various professional organisations across continents, including universities, medical research councils and national health systems in Europe, Asia, Oceania, North America and Africa. The conference organisation team included Debbie Braybrook, Glen Jankowski, Professor Brendan Gough, Professor Steve Robertson, and Professor Alan White.
