The making of the film “Shok” – my research which took the form of an analytic auto-ethnographical practice based enquiry, exploring and documenting the creation of a visual aesthetic. This research details my immersive process/preparatory research and Cinematographic poiesis /praxis and methods of disseminating the work to students. Use this case study for undergraduate and post graduate teaching in exploring the Cinematographic impact on the visual narrative. In my workshop-based teaching it forms a concrete example to explore lighting, composition and camera-placement for this specific story and narrative view.
